About the Ga Bible
More about us
For one hundred and fifty years, the Ga Bible has impacted millions of people, influenced culture, and transcended numerous generations within the Ga people of the Greater Accra.
Knowledge of the Bible was transmitted not only directly by its reading and hearing, but also indirectly by its linkage to folklores and proverbs of the people.
The celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Ga Bible was launched on Sunday, 3rd April, 2016 at the Wesley Cathedral, Accra.
Speaking on the theme for the anniversary, “ God Speaks all languages: Celebrating 150 years of the Ga Bible”, Rev. Prof. David Nii Anum Kpobi, a Senior Lecturer at the Trinity Theological Seminary, noted that, God created language as a gift to mankind and that was how He communicated with mankind.
